TML has been contracted by Belize Border Management Agency to prepare an ISPS Security Plan and a Disaster Management Plans for new San Pedro Water Taxi Terminal
ZSL has been contracted by the Ministry of Forestry, Fisheries and Sustainable Development to conduct the “Consultancy to Conduct a Capacity Needs Assessment and to Develop an Organizational Framework Supporting National Climate Change Governance.”
The consultancy allows ZSL to help craft Belize’s climate change landscape moving forward to include the shape of the new climate change entity, the development of the key stakeholders in climate change governance and to help influence the Cabinet through the preparation of two Cabinet Papers.
ZSL has been contracted to help the Port of Belize establish a quality management system with a view to securing ISO 9001:2008 certification.
ZSL will guide PBL through the entire process and will develop all tools, manuals, procedures, audit schemes and other related documents. The contract is to be delivered upon over a nineteen month period (Sept 2015)
The CEO of the Zephyr Group has been contracted by the Ministry of Tourism to act as the Start-up Coordinator for the newly constructed Saca Chispa Sunset Boardwalk and Water Taxi Terminal in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize. As the Start-up Coordinator he is charged with operationalizing the project whilst ensuring safety & security, operational efficiency and long term fiscal sustainability.
The CEO of the Zephyr Group has been appointed by the IDB to lead the Logistics and Connectivity Working Group of the Belize Chapter of the Caribbean Growth Forum (CGF). As the facilitator for one of the three thematic areas the CEO also attended the Regional CGF in Nassau, Bahamas as part of the Belize delegation.
The CEO of the Zephyr Group has been appointed to represent the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the Belize National Climate Change Committee (BNCCC). The BNCCC is a high level committee appointed by the Prime Minster of Belize to lead Belize’s national climate change agenda. The CEO represents Belize’s largest private sector organization on the said committee ensuring that the private sector is a fully committed partner in that regard.
